Hi! Thanks for looking at my job post.

I’m a frequent writer and speaker on the topics of economics, decision science, risk management and cyber security.

I have hours and hours of presentation transcripts, unfinished blog posts and articles that I’d like to refine. The finished product will be a journal article, article in a periodical, book chapter or just a blog post.

I’m a story teller. Even though this is business writing, I weave interesting stories and creating writing into everything I write. I’m very influenced by the Freakonomics series and Malcom Gladwell.

What I’ll provide: what I have so far in Word doc format; usually a rough draft of something. It may be full of typos and grammar errors, or it could be a transcript from a talk. I’ll also provide any supporting documentation: slide deck, if applicable, any notes, references, images, etc. I’ll also tell you what the finished product is for (e.g. blog, journal) the audience, formal/informal, etc.

What I need: A polished doc that that’s close to final. I don’t need any images or pictures – I’ll do this — but it would be nice to get your opinion of what images I can create. The text should follow a logical format: Intro, point 1, 2, 3, etc, conclusion, call to action. American English please.

I’ll provide writing samples of mine so you get an idea of my voice. I’m looking to establish a long-term relationship with a writer would would like a steady stream of work.

This gig is ghostwriting – no co-author credits.

You will be writing a summary of many individuals who have done a ted talk and a summary of the ted talks the individual has done, along with the books they have written.

Think of this as one web page. It should be written to inform the reader. I will give you instructions on what to possibly include in the summaries in order to optimize for SEO.
