With poetry, a lot can be left up to interpretation in terms of editing, but Elizabeth was incredibly helpful in giving constructive edits and suggestions of certain things she thought would be beneficial to my book. Our meetings were productive and pleasant, and the editing process was completed in a timely manner. Elizabeth is easy to work with and incredibly approachable, and I am grateful she made this entire process so efficient and easy. She gave feedback on certain poems that had an impact on her, which was not included in her job but immensely appreciated. Elizabeth is an amazing editor! I had her edit my manuscript for copyediting. During our meetings we used Google Meet to chat, and communicated using email. On our first call she listed her services and how she could help with my book. Elizabeth went above and beyond what I had expected during our initial meeting. When she was done we met again and she sent over my manuscript on Microsoft word, using tracked changes to make editing suggestions. She also sent over a copyediting report. The report listed an overview of my book, statistics for what types of changes she suggested, pie graphs, and a manuscript breakdown with some notes for the overall plot. It was a pleasure to work with Elizabeth. She’s detail oriented, passionate, and has top tier time management skills. Can’t wait to reach out to her again with other projects.
