About Me

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University, where I laid the foundation for my professional journey. While initially immersed in the healthcare industry for several years, I came to realize that my true passion lay in writing and editing.

My transition into the world of wordsmithing began with freelancing for diverse clients and websites during the precious moments I had in between hospital shifts. Eager to cultivate my skills and knowledge, I dedicated myself to a regimen of online courses and voracious reading, relentlessly expanding my skillset.

In 2019, I finally embarked on a pivotal career shift, bidding farewell to my hospital job to embrace writing and editing full-time.

My most recent milestone has been self-publishing my first literary work Toska in July of 2023.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I find solace and inspiration in the pages of books and the realms of video games. I live in the Durham-Raleigh area with my husband and two fur babies Link (features on the right) and Luna.
